Position Summary:

We’re seeking a fun, dependable, and horse-loving Assistant Kids Camp Leader to help guide our summer campers (ages 6–12) through a week of hands-on horse experiences, games, crafts, and outdoor adventures. This role supports the Head Camp Leader and plays a key part in ensuring the camp runs smoothly, safely, and joyfully.

Must have reliable transportation and prior horse experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist with daily horse-related activities, including grooming, leading, tacking, and basic riding supervision.

Support the Head Camp Leader in managing daily schedules, camper transitions, and group activities.

Help supervise campers during horse time, snack breaks, craft projects, and nature walks.

Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive atmosphere for all campers.

Communicate clearly and kindly with children, parents, and team members.

Be ready to jump in where needed—whether it’s helping a nervous camper, refilling water buckets, or playing a game of tag.
